Original 8×10in Oil Pastel on Canvas Board
Awakened moves like a visual rhythm with each mark, color, and shifting form bouncing against the next like notes in an improvised composition. Bold oil pastel strokes create a fragmented face where blues, yellows, reds, and greens collide, overlap, and pulse with their own energy. Rather than simply depicting a figure, the piece becomes an exploration of movement, sound, and emotion translated into color.
